Murals in Menomonie is a collaborative group of community organizations bringing a one-of-a-kind mural event to town in the summer of 2026.

The Murals in Menomonie event in June 2026 will serve as a transformative initiative, bringing together artists, residents, and visitors to celebrate creativity, wellness, and community pride. This large-scale public art project will have a lasting impact on Menomonie by fostering mental well-being, promoting physical activity, enriching the public art landscape, and strengthening the city’s collective identity.

Murals in Menomonie is a collaborative event between the City of Menomonie, the Community Foundation of Dunn County, Downtown Menomonie, Explore Menomonie, Dunn County Historical Society, University of Wisconsin–Stout, and Vintage Sign Shop.

• Dragon Tale Books - June 25 & 26, 10am-1pm meet author Siphiwe Promise Mainjeni. She’ll have books for sale and signing. June 26 & 27, 2-4pm get your Menomonie Coloring Books. Wisconsin books will also be available. June 26, 4-6pm and June 27, Noon-2pm meet Jay Allen the creator of “The Walldogs” book. The books are available at the store already and he will sign them. Or you can buy one during these times.
